Tom Sawyer Camps offers four quality after school programs for elementary school and
junior high students of Pasadena Polytechnic School, The Waverly School in Pasadena, Odyssey Charter School and Aveson Charter School in Altadena.

Far more than simple child care, our After School Camps provide both quality educational
experiences and FUN for the campers. The Tom Sawyer philosophy is based upon the direct
involvement of the staff in the daily activities. Our caring, well trained counselors involve
themselves with the campers both by leading games and activities and by playing along in games of the campers' choice. Through this interaction our campers develop healthy social skills, learn how to successfully resolve conflicts and how to make and keep good friends!

We also offer a wide range of enrichment classes which are designed to provide fun and
educational opportunities that are not usually offered during school. The classes are held one
day a week for an hour each during fall, winter and spring sessions. Current enrichment classes include horseback riding, art, dance, and cooking, magic classes and chess club. Class sizes are kept small so the quality is always high! These classes are offered at an additional fee ranging from $10 to $18 an hour. Basic Fees:

Our billing system is as follows. We bill each week, based upon the number of days each
child attends. These are our 2011 - 2012 After School Camp fees:

5 days per week: $78

4 days per week: $70

3 days per week: $55

2 days per week: $42

1 day per week*: $25

Multi-Child Discount: If you are enrolling more than one child, each week your statement will include a 10% discount off your total amount owed. *Applies to campers in grades 6-8th only at Odyssey, Poly and Waverly only.

Specific School Information

Poly After School Camp is located at the Polytechnic School in Pasadena. This program
serves K - 8th graders and began in the fall of 1997. We are open from regular Poly
dismissal time to 6:00 PM Mondays-Fridays and from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM on school
holidays and vacation times. Poly After School Camp is for students of Polytechnic
School only.

Waverly After School Camp is located at The Waverly School in Pasadena. This program
opened in the Fall of 2002, and serves all K - 8th grade students. Waverly ASC is open
from 3:00 to 6:00 PM Mondays-Fridays and from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM on school
holidays and vacation times. Waverly ASC is for students of The Waverly School only.

Odyssey After School Camp is located at Odyssey Charter School in Altadena. This
program opened in the Fall of 2008, and serves all K -8th grade students. Odyssey ASC
is open from dismissal to 6:00 PM Mondays-Fridays and from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
on school holidays and vacation times. Odyssey ASC is for students of Odyssey Charter
School only.

Aveson After School Camp is located at Aveson Charter School in Altadena. This
program opened in the Fall of 2010, and serves all K -5th grade students. Aveson ASC
is open from dismissal to 6:00 PM Mondays-Fridays, and from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
on school holidays and vacation times. Aveson ASC is for students of Aveson Charter
School only.
