Mike and Sally Horner have owned and operated the camp since 1973. Tom Sawyer Camps is directed by experienced and dedicated leaders. The staff is second to none. We believe that the key to a successful camp rests with the selection, training, and maturity of the camp's counselors. Tom Sawyer counselors have a sincere love for children and an outgoing, enthusiastic nature with which the campers can readily identify. Senior counselors, who are directly in charge of each group, drive the children in the camp's vehicles. They all have experience with children and work hard to create an atmosphere of trust, fun, confidence and success.
