Entering 1st through 5th Grade

The Tom Sawyer-Becky Thatcher Day Camp is famous for its horse and swimming instruction and the good "old fashioned" games and adventures awaiting the children every day.

The campers are grouped by age and grade into a boys or girls group of 13 led by a senior counselor and junior counselor. Group allegiance runs high, and group rivalry is keen but friendly. With guidance from their counselor, group members select their activities. One group may favor team sports, another may like playing in their fort and spying on other groups, while a third group may prefer to explore the "wild uncharted wilderness areas" just minutes away from civilization. Adventures, real and imagined, seem to arise spontaneously one after another with the aid of our highly "inventive" staff. Camp begins each day at 9:10 and ends at 4:00.
